| Jet Kiss (architectural rendering) for Seattle, WA 2016 (scheduled opening) decommissioned military jets, steel 80' x 50' x 15' |
Mike Ross has been commissioned to create the station sculpture for Seattle’s upcoming Capitol Hill light rail station. Working with station architect David Hewitt, he proposed to transform two decommissioned military jets into bird-like shapes, suspended above the center platform. The sculpture is currently being fabricated in Oakland, CA. |
